Hi there, I’m Caitlin!

Bio
I have been working with children and young people aged 0-18 for the last decade, in both paid and voluntary capacities. Due to this, I have a great rapport with children and young people which allows me to help develop their confidence and get them to flourish in a nurturing environment.
I have been working as an online tutor for over two years now and have enjoyed watching my students grow and become confident in the areas they have struggled with the most.
I have a positive approach with my students which is designed to bring out the best of their ability through self confidence and self esteem. Every child has the ability to learn if given the right opportunity and resources and shouldn't be held back because one way of learning doesn't fit their needs.
I have worked with students with various SEND needs such as ADHD, Autism, Dyslexia, Global Developmental Delay Disorder and various other Neurodiverse disorders as well as Speech and Language disorders and various Mental Health disorders (particularly in my GCSE students) so am fully understanding and aware that one size does not fit all when it comes to your child's education.
I am also DBS checked and qualified.
Education
Joint Honours Bachelor's Degree in Education and Drama
September 2018 - July 2021
I spent 3 years in Bath studying Education and Drama. Within these subjects I studied SEND education and awareness and completed my dissertation with an Upper Second Class Honours (2:1) having specialised in The Causes and Effects of Delayed Diagnosis of Neurodiversity.

I also studied Shakespeare and various other plays and literary works which has helped me gain an in-depth knowledge of and love for English Literature.
